I agree 100%, this look really cheaps the apperance. and rather distasteful in my opinion. And btw i can't see any 2 door models on Ford.ca website. i was really looking forward to this car too.

I think the logic behind the bumper wedges is so that on non-foglight cars they won't scream "blanking-off panel" as loud. I'm still hoping they'll be body-colored (or even black) on lower trim level cars.

Being one of those people who won't even consider a sedan if there's a hatchback alternative, at least I won't have to avert my eyes when I see one coming and I might not even mind being seen in one as a rental.

The aftermarket (or perhaps the proper option package) will cure all.
